Now, when is my favorite Rebel finally going to upgrade and get herself a proper jetpack?

This is actually a big bone of contention in my household. My daughter loves that she doesn't have one and says she is more acrobatic without it. Whereas I am obviously of the opposite opinion.

 

Sabine said she wanted one in the second to last episode of season 2 right? Maybe she gets one in season 3?

 

Yeah, I loved that moment.

 

When I first started watching Rebels, it didn't take long for Sabine to become my favourite. I liked her attitude, I liked her design, and her being Mandalorian obviously helped. Dare I say this, but with Jango and Boba not being Mandalorians and their EU wiped away...Sabine could be my favourite character in all of Star Wars despite her current desperate need for more backstory.

 

At least she won't die by being thrown off a cliff by the force if she has one.

So what is everyone's favorite thing about Sabine?

 

Great to see this!

I love Sabine because of how colorful she is, rather like Star Wars itself (also, Star Wars -> SW -> Sabine Wren). In the literal sense, her art is general expression and an aesthetic shot at the Empire. It makes sense, then, that she values truth, even though she gave a vague answer when Ezra asked about her parents. On the figurative side, she's already been involved in three different pursuits. She's somewhat aloof, but not brooding; well-studied but not overly bookish, etc.

I'm torn on it. She could be more versatile with one, but then her stunts like in Fire Across the Galaxy and The Call would be unnecessary.

 

Her artistic nature is something we've never seen before in Star Wars, I didn't think things like regular paper and graffiti even existed in the Star Wars universe

 

I agree, her artistic nature is definitely one of my favorite aspects of her character.

Another thing I like about Sabine is her backstory, or what we know of it anyway. Ironically, the episode I thought would answer a lot of questions regarding her backstory, The Protector of Concord Dawn, just raised even more. Wait, Sabine's mother was in Death Watch (somehow, I had forgotten that line in the trailer by the time he episode aried)? Who was she? IS it someone we know? Is it Bo-Katan? So many questions! GIVE ME ANSWERS NOW, FILIONI! NOW!

 

Sabine is awesome! We need more backstory, more details! And I love her hair. I wish i could pull something like that off.

 

I'm interested in seeing what awesome look she gives herself in season 3. Hoping for some nice purple and maybe a new hairstyle?

Would like to see that half-shaved look or maybe some of those nice markings on her arms.

Just a heads up that tomorrow you'll move up ranks recruits. A couple NCO promotions too.

 

I agree, the half shaven look would look pretty cool. I also wonder if she'll make any changes to the armor next season too. I can't imagine she would wear anything too bulky though.

 

Well I'm at school right now, but tonight this thread will be my life.

 

I've seen quite a few wanting her to have more armour+jetpack. I'm personally against this, I like her lighter take on the Mandalorian armour, plus she doesn't even need a jetpack with those athletic skills AND jetpacks only seem to get Mandos killed in the end...
