I just got married and my wedding cake was the ewok village!!!

It was my wife's idea actually. The cake was a bunch of ewok huts with bridges and everything, we surrounded it with greenery and plants and put all the figures from the ewok celebration on it, I bought a whole bunch of ewok figures and mixed up their clothes and accesorries. We had the glider ewok floating above it. In front of the main hut I had Han with his hand under Leia's chin and used the white Leia from the medal awards ceremony figure, as the bride and groom. When we were announced at the reception we played the ewok celebration song (the real one that should NEVER have been removed)as we walked in. No one knew we were doing all of this. I'll try to get some pix downloaded.

That's great! Congratulations. For our wedding cake, my wife and I put Han and Leia action figures on the top. The Leia figure was from the medal ceremony at the end of ANH, which looks pretty much like a wedding dress anyway.

I got married in Jan and they played the main SW theme song as the wedding party walked into the reception hall. My wife was...pleasently surprised. My friends proud. My mother and mother-in law only rolled thier eyes.

ps-for our wedding shower, my sis-in law bought a cake with the SW logo and also a Vader figure on top of it(which i thought was edible-turns it is wasn't )

That cake idea is just amazing. You definitely must share pictures of this.

And the Ewok Song should have stayed, no matter how nice the new music supposedly is (I've only seen the new RotJ ending once, 7 years ago, so I don't remember the music enough to say what it was like...but it wasn't the right song).
