I JUST GOT THE GUNSHIP!!!

yeah but my is post release so that makes it it more special

 

I was all ready last night to buy a 12" fig or two to start my action collection of those, and lo and behold what do I find, but the Republic Gunship instead!!!

It took a while to put all the stickers on, but the rest of the pieces were snap-together and in really no time at all, I had that mamma-jamma going!

The automatically-opening side doors are sweet, the size and detail are really cool too!

Only thing is, very few of the more recent figs seem able to fit into the pilots' slots...right now I have Taun We and Princess Leia (ceremonial dress from ANH) piloting

Overall, it's a great toy! Looking forward to the add-ons (if I can find that many clone pilots, that is!)

 

Oh MAN!!! After waiting for months and months to be able to buy it, and over a month for it to be shipped...I checked my tracking details and it has arrived in my city!!!

With any luck it will be waiting for me when I get home from work today!

Cool...It's fun posing your Jedi figures, halfway hanging out of it and deflecting blaster bolts

Wanted to get more Clonetroopers for mine, but can't find any at the local stores anymore

 

The preview figure looks great standing in the gunship, ready to blast some droid bottom. He's really the cat's meow.

My red clontrooper can't even hold onto his gun as the ship flys around. It falls out of his hands, and he just looks around like "Hey, I lost-a my gun." He has an Italian accent, yes.

Yeah, it's time to start scouring the local stores to see if anyone has any more of the preview Clonetroopers with the blast-effect...much cooler (except for poseability) than the Red Clonetrooper, imo...

 

I have 2 white/preview ones.


Oh yes, nice blast effects, they're white just like in the movies, and yes, I'm bragging.

Oh, and my red clonie holds onto his gun fine (even when I turn teh gunship upside down). Try to reposition it differently. Either that or Italians are simply imcompetant.

 

Woo-hoo! I was able to score 2 Clonetrooper Pilots yesterday, as well as Padme (Coruscant Attack) and an extra Red Clonetrooper...

Taun We and Princess Leia continue to pilot, as the Yellow Clonetroopers man the guns. Much fun!

 

Went to Walmart today, got the only Gunship they had ! What luck. I went back to target to pick up the $100 R2-D2........ Gone !! Oh well, the Gunship rocks, good call Sithman. Check your Walmarts for the Gunship ! $38

 

I got lucky today and found the last remaining Gunship at my Wal-Mart, It was stuffed in the back on the bottom shelf and I almost missed it.

Great Vehicle now only if I could find R2.

 

Still no sight of the Gunship.

I saw the Gunship tonight at walmart. The thing is freaking heavy I didnt buy it as I dont have the money for it right now, might get it later on...

Wow, the box doesn't seem so big, but once you assemble the Gunship, it's huge!!!

Now I only need to pick me up a couple of Clone pilots...

Mine is shipping on the 15th. another thing that makes November so wonderful, I should have it by the 18th.
