... I truly believe that the LOTRers need their own damn board. The YJCC has become the dumping ground for the LOTR threads. There are currently 12 LOTR threads in the first 5 pages of the YJCC. Isn't that a bit ridiculous? Even if they are all supposedly different enough to merit their own individual threads, damn! If I see another "Hellm"$ Deap!! WW00000T!!" post, I am going to scream and holler till I pass out.

If you keep seeing a lot of them just PM a mod. They keep poping up in the AOTC borads. But they then get locked. Because they have nothing to do with AOTC.

 

It was no different last year for FotR. A bunch of thread sprouting up. Its simply the whole teenybopper situation, where something 'cool' happens, and everyone wants a piece of it.

I see no problem with there being LOTR threads in the JCC - but within reason. Other movies are discussed there so certainly LOTRs should be allowed. I don't want to see the JCC bogged down with too many threads on LOTRs though.

I have to agree, the recent surge of LOTR/Harry Potter threads has gotten a bit ridiculous. I'm surprised we have yet to see a "Mace vs Aragorn - Who would win?" thread,or a "Arwen or Padme, - Who would you rather date" thread or something on those lines...

I don't mind TTT discussion in 3SA so long as it's apropros to spoiler discussion. Most times, it's a comparison of CGI, characters, and story arc. That's fine. I would imagine things will settle soon, especially in the JCC.
