When you're Billy Dee one dancing partner just isn't enough...
Wow!! He's so suave and debonaire! Still smooth through and through. And I think the judges need to get a life. He is doing incredible under the circumstances he deals with.
Rumor has it (again, RUMOR) that Billy Dee was in the show to get in shape for a new movie that is coming out. Star something........
@VoxDeamonicus is Attack Wing any good?
Attack Squadron was pretty good. the closed beta is over now, i think. It was fun. They kept making changes on how ships were offered. Sometimes every ship was available, sometimes it was broken done and some ships just became skins. They offered firesprays and yt1300's at the end. No falcon skin, sadly, but they did have a steller envoy skin. The firespray had several skins, including Fett's.The beta is closed, but you can still sign up. I can still log in, look at the ships, and even fly around a bit on my own, but with no other players.
When you're Billy Dee you get invited to be a guest at Metropolis Superman Celebration...even though you never had anything to do with Superman...they want you there so bad they stretch and reach for your involvement as Harvey Dent in the original Batman movie as an excuse.
What I find interesting in his Bio is this...he's being credited as the voice of Lando for the upcoming Star Wars Rebels. Did we know Lando was going to be in Rebels? It's news to me.
"He is best known to international film audiences as the roguish Lando Calrissian in the last two episodes of the original Star Wars-trilogy: Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983). Williams can also be seen on screen in Lady Sings the Blues (1972), Nighthawks (1981), Moving Target (1996) and Undercover Brother (2002). Besides his television & film roles, Billy Dee has voiced Lando Calrissian in the The Lego Movie (2014), TV series Star Wars Rebels (2014) and voiced Lindo Calrissian in the TV movie: Lego Starwars: The Yoda Chronicles- The Phantom Clone (2013)."
I bet they meant Detours; but I went and emailed someone who may know.
Good eye Boss!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! ... Billy Dee! ... Billy Dee! ... Billy Dee!
Billy Dee And Me!!
Yeah, I had checked his IMDB page and it's listed there as well...of course I don't know how accurate a source that is...in fact I'm willing to bet that's what the Metropolis people pulled his bio together from.
Zannah, I met him at Wizard World Nashville last year but I didn't get a picture...I'll have to see if I can remedy that at Superman Celebration.
Awww...Billy Dee...feel better soon
IMDB is fairly accurate.
Trust me.... it sucks more and more as you age. My heart goes out to him. I'm so honored and happy to have been able to sit beneath his star.
IKTIOT but three of our LGA family get a nice shout out in John "Dak" Morton's latest blog post on the Star Wars Blog
Interesting and enjoyable read!
Aaaah!! I know Mika it's so awesome!! Ya just gotta love it!
LOL!! That's epically funny stuff.. and there's my Uncle George! WIN-WIN!!
IKTIOT but KY has been ranked 7th nerdiest state in the country.
"Overall, the South is an unfriendly place for nerds. About as close as they can get is Kentucky, which loves comic books (2nd) and Magic: The Gathering (3rd). The Bluegrass State loathes Lord of the Rings (44th), but compensates for it with its instense love for Star Wars (5th) and Harry Potter (6th). This nerd sanctuary also has some of the most star-studded comic conventions in the country"
Oh, and IN came in at 11
Keep that Star Wars love alive and stay nerdy everyone!
WOOT!!! You've got a deal Chief!
IKTIOT... but speaking of "reboots"...
Not too much into Power Rangers... but I know I'm out dated. LOL! At any rate, that's great for all you Rangers fans!
perfectly summed up.
Looks like Billy Dee's involvement with Star Wars Rebels is confirmed
Oh now that's wonderful news! I'm so happy to hear about this... he so deserves to be a part of this new process. Oh hugs to Billy Dee .. sooo smooth.
Hmmmmm... after The Star Wars Clone Wars, this will be different.
On another note and to follow up on the last bit in the clip....
The Force Surrounds Us, It Penetrates Us, It Binds The Universe Together..... it is.....
