About 4 months ago I met a very wonderful guy...... who lives in Arizona.

Long distance relationships suck, but if there's anything good about it, it's that you get to know a person very well before things get physical, so there's no way it can go too fast.

He's been trying to get a job transfer to Dallas, but it isn't going as we planned.

I just lost my job. 5 days before christmas they laid me off.

So now I may be moving to Arizona.... like, by the end of January.

    I'll keep you all informed.

That's a real bummer about your job. Good luck with everything and best wishes.. hopefully 2001 will have many good things in store for you.

    Take care,
    Cynthia

That's a terrible way to kick off the holidays. I'm so sorry Mandy, but perhaps it is the opportunity you need to explore this relationship. Either way I hope things get better for you very soon. BTW if you think Dallas summers are bad, wait until you've sampled those in Arizona :) Keep us updated.

Well, Curt just got an interview with the guy about the transfer on the 8th... so hopefully we'll know something soon. I may not have to move to AZ after all. We'll see. Still kinda 50/50.
