About 4 months ago I met a very wonderful guy...... who lives in Arizona.

Long distance relationships suck, but if there's anything good about it, it's that you get to know a person very well before things get physical, so there's no way it can go too fast.

He's been trying to get a job transfer to Dallas, but it isn't going as we planned.

I just lost my job. 5 days before christmas they laid me off.

So now I may be moving to Arizona.... like, by the end of January.

I'll keep you all informed.

 

That's a real bummer about your job. Good luck with everything and best wishes.. hopefully 2001 will have many good things in store for you.

That's a terrible way to kick off the holidays. I'm so sorry Mandy, but perhaps it is the opportunity you need to explore this relationship. Either way I hope things get better for you very soon. BTW if you think Dallas summers are bad, wait until you've sampled those in Arizona Keep us updated.

 

Well, Curt just got an interview with the guy about the transfer on the 8th... so hopefully we'll know something soon. I may not have to move to AZ after all. We'll see. Still kinda 50/50.
