I need an intervention...

I need one of those dog collars that zap you when you get close to the emitter thingies. Put the collar on me and put the emitter in the DVD sections of Best Buy, Wal-Mart, the BX, etc...

I was adding it up last night and I've spent around $4.5g on dvd's in the last 4 years...

Is there a movie-aholics anonymous or something?

Actually, I just estimated ours..., and it was only around half that number. But still, that's a lot of movies! And a lot of cash...

I only buy movies because they take too long to download.

 

I buy movies if they're cheap, or if I have to have it, but I usually get them as a gift!

 

I just don't think about how much all my DVDs cost. Ignorance is bliss

This is what I do...every time I want to buy something, I figure out how many hours I had to work to buy it. I envision myself, working. If it still seems worth it, I buy it. If I cringe or doubt my impulse, I PUT THE PRETTY CRAP DOWN AND WALK AWAY!!

It seems to work some of the time. Hope it helps ya.

The thing that's really killing my budget for my camera is this costuming stuff for starfest, lol...well, yeah, it's a fraction of that $4500 in dvd's, but it's more immediate or something...yeah...

Yeah, you could go to one of those cheap movie thearters and watch one for about three dollars. Instead of spending oh about twenty dollars on a DVD movie. Think about all the money you could save!

did the dvd club thing for awhile. hated it. it'd be nice if you didn't have to mail in there stupid forms or remember to cancel the "selection of the month" thing...I always forget about that stuff. That's how I ended up with Bringing Down the House and Chicago on DVD...I HATE QUEEN LATIFAH!!! er...yeah...okay, nevermind.


Why pay $3 to see a movie once when I can pay $20 to see it many many times?

Zac...dude...I don't know what kind of logic they teach you in the Pueblo school system, but your thought process is scaring me. Why would I want to sit at home and be depressed b/c I spent all that money on movies and have nothng to show for it...when I can sit at home and watch the movies and just be depressed that I haven't bought my GL-2 yet? lol
