JCC I need some cat advice/help

I adore cats and think you're utterly wrong, but I still loled.

If only the cat stopped eliminating...

I honestly find it a bit unlikely the cat was tired of being cooped up. My two had to forego their walks (yup, on leashes) during our winter, and yeah, the one cat really wanted to go outside. But dark, and cold, and wet - uh uh, I wasn't going along for the walk.

 

Where is the cat's litter box located, and is it covered? If it's in a high-traffic area without a cover, it might be a privacy issue. The box I had for my last two cats was pretty large with a cover and I kept it in a corner of the room. The cover gave them privacy and also kept most of the litter inside when they covered their 'mess'. They were indoor cats and I had no issues with them doing their business where they shouldn't.
