You all know the game, so lets play it Star Wars style.

When ever you see or here SW in every day life post it. Then we'll see just how much SW is in our every day lives.

Here's one to start things off.


I was watching Poltergeist on scream TV and the 2 children had SW toys. Robbie had a Darth Vader action figure case and a Han Solo electronic blaster, while Carolyn had a Luke Skywalker action figure.

 

I was watching SG1 last night and Richard Dean Anderson called himself Luke Skywalker when being tortured.

 

Today at the Inauguration of Barack Obama, the bishop who gave the morning prayer said to Pres Obama "May the Force be with you." He said it was a reference to Star TREK, but I forgive him.

 

Almost every episode of Lost has a Star Wars reference, usually made by Sawyer. Also, Stargate Atlantis has a lot of Star Wars references.

 

Last night on "Ace Of Cakes" on the Food Network, they made a Millennium Falcon cake. It looked terrific and captured lots of detail - even the weathering. It looked more like the toy Falcon than a cake. There's an image on this site...

I keep forgetting this one. I forget the exact episode, but on Fringe, Olivia was commenting on how much of a loner she was in school.

Olivia: "They used to call me Han."
Peter: "As in Solo?"

 

Writer/Director Kevin Smith is a huge Star Wars fan. All of his movies have references to Star Wars, quotes from Star Wars, and even characters (usually fan boys) arguing about stuff that happens in Star Wars. Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill have small roles in his 2001 film, "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back."

His most recent film, "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" comes out on DVD this Tuesday. I saw it at the theatre last fall. It's very funny, though the content may be too adult for kids. The main premise is that the two leads - who are best friends and room mates - decide to try to make some money to pay their bills by making an adult version of Star Wars. And the hilarity ensures. You'll never be able to look at R2 the same way.

 

The show Supernatural is full of star wars quotes, the creator is a big fan. My favorite is when Dean gives away his car 'his baby' to a guy with mine control and he says 'He totally pulled an Obi-wan on me'.

 

I was watching Naked Cops yesterday and they picked up someone who was running around in a pink thong. I want from lol to lmao because he had a bounty hunter tatoo on the side of his cafe.

 

I was watching a show called Eureka, and a girl created a working model of the solar system, including a sun that wouldn't burn out, and was in fact getting larger and hotter. When that happened one person commented that they had two suns, like Tattooine.

 

On the TV show Bones tonight on Globle there was a stormtrooper walking around at a costume party.

 

I saw a preview for a remake of Return to Witch Mountain, and what caught my attention was two stormtroopers getting into the back of a taxi.

 

Chicken Little was on tonight and Runt made the comment "Darth Vader is Luke's father!"

 

I was on line watching video blogs and the was this one "communitychannel" from Australia. I noticed there was a star wars hanging in the back ground.

 

Last night on "Ace of Cakes" they made another Star Wars cake. This one was a groom's cake in the shape of Slave 1, with a mini frozen Han, Boba Fett, and Stormtrooper.

the movie Prom Wars, an all girls school sets up 2 all boys schools (jock's vs nerds) in a competions for who gets the privlage of asking prom dates. When questioned that the girl would fix it for the jocks, they replied there are many girls that could name every colour of lightsaber.

the move Superbad. with the 2 cops and 1 starts doing yoda impressions.

 

the new disney movie "Race to Witch Mountain" had two stormtroopers get into Dwayne Johnsons taxi.

 

Yeah Rabellaka already go that one.

How about the love guru with the mag "guru wars" with the picture of them with lightsabers.

 

How about the Hellsing series? In the third or second disc one of the characters mentions the millenium falcon and Han Solo when investigating the group Millenium and it comes up on the search results.

 

Last night on "American Dad" the daughter Hayley was eating magic brownies with a friend and the fish, Klaus. They then described what would be the best rock band ever - Darth Vader, Chewie, and Luke. Then Hayley said "What about Yoda?" to which Klaus replied "I forgot Yoda!"

 

I vas watching Angel and they called Angelis "Darth Vampire".

 

On the simpson's yesterday, and they do have a lot of star wars on there. Any how, it was the diorama rama and Ralfie won with the origonal star wars action figures still on cards and he says "what's a diorama?"
