I already stared this thread before but the mods shut it down and sent me the cave of evil thread.
When I started posting in it the mods shut it down.

The Force Awakens adds nothing to the Star Wars universe in any sense from design script or emotion.

The Force Awakens is not a bad movie but it does not deserve a part in the six movie saga that proceeded it.

I could write a much longer opening post but until I can see the mods are not going to shut it down I am not doing to waste the energy.

I detect the sarcasm but The Force Awakens is a soulless remake of A New Hope just Like Into Darkness is a soulless remake of The Wrath of Khan.

Again not going to put much effort into this post if the thread is going to be locked.

Which was locked and I went were I was told and that was locked too.

The Original trilogy among many things showed the underdog rising up against the Empire.

The prequel trilogy showed us how evil rose when people bury their heads in the sand.

The new movie shows us how Hollywood likes a fast buck.

Ubraniff Zalkaz can you tell us all what The Force Awakens added to the Star Wars universe?

Why didn't you ask the mods first? As it stands, there's nothing of any substance to discuss--just a bunch of assertions.

Desert Planet powerful force use saves droid with important information.
Their mentor dies at the hands of a Dark Side force user with a red saber on a planet killing battlestation.
The shields are lowered just in time and the xwings save the rebel base on the forest planet.
    Have I missed anything?

You've noted some similarities. Everyone agrees there are similarities. Not everyone agrees that the film is "soulless", that it "adds nothing", that it lacks "emotion" or that it "does not deserve a part" in the saga.

Edit: Are you saying that the similarities lead inexorably to that conclusion?

Even without the Cave, we still have existing threads where this could go. One would be the "list your criticisms" thread, or other threads devoted to specific topics.

    So... locking.
