Also, I like having pierced ears. It hurt a bit and I don't wear them much when I'm away at school, but I really enjoyed them.

 

How close did you come to actually having the piercings done?

 

My little sister and I were having them done at a jewelry place near the house. They're really nice there, and they know us real well because we go there often to fix and fine-tune my watches from my collection. And we've bought bracelets and necklaces and other stuff from there, too, of course. A family owns it, and they're really nice people.

I sort of decided on the way over there that I wasn't going to do it. My sister, who acts more my age than I do sometimes, was going to go through with it in the rain or sleet or snow or darkness of night. I had a bad experience with needles when I was a little kid (a nurse messed up when she was giving me a shot) and I'm sort of touchy about that sort of thing. I took pictures of my sister while they were piercing her ears, but I couldn't even exactly watch as they did it.

But she said it didn't hurt, and it took less than a second. We have to pick up a bracelet from them in about a week. I'll keep you guys posted on what I decide to do.

If you're going to wear earrings at all, this is a much better way to go. It only stings for a split second, and the earrings are way more comfortable than clip ons.

I feel naked without earrings in my ear.

 

Had to elave mine at home today.
The upper hole on the left is acting up. trying to make my ear look like a cauli flower.
Something is definitely missing.

 

I don't wear earrings so I'm good.

I got my ears pierced on my 21st birthday, and I've never regretted it.

You can do it, QGR - it only hurts a split second, and then you get to have fun shopping for earrings.

I hate shopping for earrings. My skin is very easily irritated. I can only wear gold, silver and platinum. Talk about expensive...

It also means that I cannot wear any merch-jewlery.
