At Barnes and Noble. Had my arms full of trying to hold onto 6 novels, Long Time Ago Volume 1 Ominbus, the new issue of Fangoria and an Empire Strikes Back Dagobath bookmark that had Yoda on it. cost me a hundred bucks or so I got Darth Plageous, the last 3 New Jedi Order books to read and wrap it up with, Deathtroopers, Red Harvest. I figure I'll start with Death Troopers and travel back in time with Red Harvest and then the Darth Plageous novel. I was also tempted to buy the Old Republi novels Revan and Deceived but had to tone it down or else my arms would really be full of lots of books

Well since there hasnt been a question yet, Ill ask one. Ive read Revan, but not Deceived or Fatal Alliance. Are they worth buying? Any thoughts without giving away too much?
I've read Revan as well but not the other two. I just don't feel they are worth it right now... It doesn't effect my Star Wars love. I tried to play TOR but it isn't the same. Most of the people on TOR think that the "Empire" is the same one from the movies. Ugh...
Despite the fact that the old Empire and old Republic look exactly like the new republic and empire..
Do they directly relate to TOR game? I had thought they were just spinoffs, not necessarily related....
Deceived is a great book. If you read Kemp's other SW novels, Crosscurrent and Riptide, he has the same strong character work in Deceived. IMO, Fatal Alliance wasn't really good. It wasn't bad, but just kind of bland.
I have read Crosscurrent and Riptide and enjoyed both. Thanks for the info, cdgodin. I think I know what my next purchase will be...
