True, I personally don't like the kind of smørrebrød you can buy, there's just too much stuff on it. But a 'Stjerneskud' is nice though, it's got fish, but it's not liver pâté or pickled herring ;)

What kind of fish is in a 'Stjerneskud', and how is it prepared?

I love fish. That fish above looks like a flounder, or a sole.

That's one of the reasons we're going to Krogs Fiskerestaurant. :)

I can't wait to go on this trip. :)

It is neither a flounder nor a sole. It's a plaice made into a fillet of plaice.

Just go down and buy yourself some smørebrød JN327, then you wont be hungry any more. :p

    Been there, done that.

From time to time, when I want to spoil myself, I buy smørrebrød from "Domhusets Smørrebrød". It´s a little shop just beside the place I work. :D

My least-hated, favourite fish would be sole.
That way you don't have to see the eyes. Sole has no eyes.

I'll be able to use my Shell MasterCard there at your Shell gasoline stations.

    So, it's 8.62 Dk/liter.

    That's $1.38/liter or $5.52/gallon.

In the United States, gasoline is at an all time high at $1.80/gallon. In my car, I must use premium gasoline, so that runs $1.95/gallon.

Thanks a lot for the link, translation, and information!

    I really appreciate it!

    :)

How's the weather up there lately?

When it rains does it continuously rain, or is it off and on?

Thanks all, but unfortunately there isn't a FAQ in the English version. I still get those red x's for some reason.

Right now where I live, we've had flooding from some serious rain here. When it's sunny during this time the temperature gets above 80 degrees Fahrenheit (we don't use Celcius or the metric system, unfortunately so, as I wish we would switch over to it).

I want you guys to know that I really appreciate the time you're taking to answer my questions and help me out.

    :)

No problem, I hope you'll have a great time.

The weather in Denmark right now is fairly sunny, but very windy, so it's not very warm - it's about 50 Fahrenheit most of the time. We havn't had much rain recently, but in spring time the weather changes all too frequently.

Very handy tool metric converter :)
