No to Brisbane? I'm tossing up whether to move to Melbourne or Brisbane. Either way, I'm leaving Perth.

 

Melbourne, dude, Melbourne!! Apart from Perth, Melbourne is the only other place to live in Australia. I won't say corny things like the people being nicer down here (because I just don't know...although that stuff about old fools is true mata I swear), but I will say it's easy living, there's plenty to do, it hasn't been infiltrated by dirty Americans and the weather is splendid. Plus if you're a bit of a nature freak like myself, our beaches are mad offering safe non-shark infested bay beaches and juicy slightly shark infested surf beaches. Plus, Lord Mayor John So is in charge. Yeah.

Well, my HR specialist at work is coming to my store on Thurs, so I may be able to have a chat with her. I want to work at National Payroll in Brisbane, but they've been having a lot of problems recently that has made me think about wanting to go there or not. At least I've been to Melbourne and sorta know what to expect. I've never been to Brisbane.

 

Ahh ... see that's the catch. If you go somewhere you haven't been to before, that's always far harder then going somewhere you have, especially when trying to settle in to a new routine.
