I have just purchased the April edition of Empire. You must buy this. That is, if you haven't already. There is much Tron material inside. Lookie Lookie, a bit on the effects, how they were made, hmm...
Look for it, it has Heath as Ned Kelly on the cover, not the Pommie one, that has Hugo as Agent Smith on the cover...

I'll actually be using the very same technique for animating, so that won't be a worry at all. It's just going to take a bit of time, patience and practice.

The hardest scenes to do will be those involving characters of seperate colours in a single frame. Instead of doing one effect pass, I'll have to do two.

Yeah, I think I have an idea of how you did the effects. You're right, multiple colours could be a bit problematic.

Well, of course, there could very well be chicken in the movie. However, if it actually tastes like chicken, is another thing. How the program (that the characters would be in) would know what chicken tastes like is something else.
