Bah, NZ lost. Still a good chance of making the semis though, i believe.
Wow, looking at the results Australia really blitzed Sri Lanka. Didn't even lose a wicket. Goes to show how quickly these can change.
Currently, Pakistan is playing Bangladesh but I don't think that will affect anything. So far the semi finals will consist of: Australia, Pakistan, South Africa (barring miracles) and either New Zealand or India.
South Africa hehehe
Thanks India! If SA had scored 10 more runs in their chase, they'd have got in over NZ on run rate.
SA choke again
I don't know. I'd have preferred SA to India for Australia in the next round.
Okay, I copied that "(barring miracles)" part from cricinfo. And now they're not in the semis? Haha.
Both semi-finals are on later today I believe. Or tomorrow, depending where you are.
Once Symonds left it all just fell away.
Oh well - India and Pakistan should be a cracker of a game.
Well, India won't be worried about the Pakistan bowling after that bowl out
Haha. It's too hard to pick who's going to win this...
I fell asleep on the couch as Australia came out to bat in their game.
Yuvraj Singh is insane.
And India came out the champions... I didn't see Pakistan bat, but by the scoreboard it looked as though it could have ended up coming down to another bowl-out... shame it didn't .
Congrats to india, they deserved it!
The only part of the match I saw was the very last over of the entire thing. Pakistan needed 13 runs off of 6 balls and they were already 9 out.
First ball: wide (12 off 6)
Second ball: missed, no run (12 off 5)
Third ball: smashed for six! (6 off 4)
Fourth ball: he got caught... ah...
From what the commentators were saying, it was a good game. Well then, congratulations to India for taking out the first T20 championship!
