Tucson Ice Cream Social for Jedi Obi-Kat on Saturday, May 3, 2008

We'll have Jedi Obi-Kat's graduation/going away party at my place, Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 2pm.

Please sign up to bring some goodies.

We will need:

1. Ice Cream
2. Toppings
3. Drinks

Is there any way we can make it a little later in the evening? Heroes and Villains is doing free comic book day that day and the JW squad is running a toy drive along with it.

 

BTW Chris thanks for letting us know about that...

 

I'm flexible... it depends on our guest of honor. If Obi-Kat can be there in the evening, I can change the time.

 

I'll have to get back to you on that one...there's been talk among the students in my class about having a graduation party that weekend, too, so I will press them for more details...

 

I'll sign up for ice cream. I'll bring two flavors.

As for the other event on the same day, I plan on being at the H&V event at their opening time. So whatever time we have Kat's gathering is fine by me, but I think it would be nice to have others present for the party as well... too bad we did not know about the H&V event sooner, I didn't even hear it from our group I found out about it on a flyer in a sack I was given at H&V.

 

Yes that is my fault either way I will be at the party I just would like to troop a little longer as it will be a toy drive. I can get out of gear at 12:30 and be at the party by 2 if need be.

 

Chris make sure to tell the guys about Kat's going away.. if they do get out before we are done it would be nice for Kat to see them as well.

I'm waiting for Kat to let me know about timing. we can move the party to 4pm for sure, but it's not set until I hear from Kat. Can't have the party without the guest of honor.

 

True very true. 4pm would be great and other memebers of the JWS can attend after the toy drive if they so wish!

 

It sounds like anytime Saturday will work for me...my classmates are having this grad party on Friday.
4 pm sounds fine to me, but my only comment is: it's around dinner time and we're eating ice cream to spoil dinner!

 

OK.......so I know Cheryl wasa heading this up but what if we made it at 6 and had like pizza and THEN ice cream??

It occured to me that if the JWSers can't make it until 6, we could just do book club at 4 or 4:30 and then start our little party at 6. Any thoughts? Cheryl?

If Chris is bringing brats is anyone bringing buns? or mustard or any other condiments?

 

I've got some Dijon mustard, relish, and chili sauce I can bring (I want to use them up!)...I'll refrain from bringing the ketchup though, I think it expired a while ago

 

I, unfortunately, will not be bringing, nor eating, anything.

 

but you will be there, that is what is important, we know you are on a specialized diet and I might add you are doing quite well.. I am envious and happy for you
