[ICONS] New Manager?

To be honest, I completely agree it should be locked and normally would have already. As a mod, we're constantly having to make judgment calls. Sometimes people think we're doing it right, sometimes not. This thread I'm linking is precisely why I'm not locking this thread.

Should we lock fewer threads in this forum?

Some say leave this open. I'm looking at this thinking this can't go any further and we're done. Then inevitably someone will say we're lock-happy. So, I guess we'll leave it open.

 

I see what you mean, Sape, I really do. Let them say you're lock-happy, but if the main discussion is over, their opinion wouldn't matter, now would it?

 

Let me put it this way. What harm does it do, having this thread open? Say in a couple of weeks, Tracy is gone again for some reason or another and someone ahs concerns. Rather than making another pointless 4 page thread, we already have one.
