Idaho Falls Star Wars Alliance Toy Drive

    The Idaho Falls Star Wars Alliance will be collecting toys for underpriveldged
    children this saturday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Leo's Place (corner of 1st
    and Holmes) in Idaho Falls. The toys will be donated to the local Salvation
    Army, who will then distribute the toys to the children who need them.
    To participate, bring a new, unwrapped toy to Leo's on Saturday, or contact
    Doug Atwood at jedi5150@fanforce.net

    In addition, The IFSWA will be having a New Year's party Saturday, December
    30th from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Games will include Star Wars Trivial Pursuit,
    Star Wars Monopoly, a Jedi Knight Net Game, and a Masters of Teras Kasi
    tournament.

    Sorry for the slow updates, things have been crazy...

    The toy drive went well. We ahd $250-$300 worth of toys (mostly SW items) to donate. The salvation army was very happy to receive the donation, and we will definately do this again next year. We're shooting to double the amount of our contribution next year. But, for an organization that had only had 2 meetings total, I think we did rather well.
