Idea for a game.

Your a Drug smuggler. You run drugs across the Border.

 

sounds like a masterpiece to me

so is there more then just running across the river? or do you actaully have to avaid the boarder patrol or the INS?

 

Think of it like GTA 3. you shoot at the cops when they chase you. And it would be violent. And it could take place all over the world. not just Mexico-US.

 

well you said THE BOARDER and when someone sayts it like that they are normally refering to the US/Mexico. but thats just cause i live in New Mexico and we have a load of stupid illegals here.

anyway, elaborate more, its to simple jjust go on a rant, write alot of it down so we can give constructive ideas and the liuke

i thought smugglers run was just a nother pointless racing game?

 

You would get a Gun, and kill people then take drugs in a car like in GTA 3. Then make a run to the boarder and if the cops chase ou you go on a high speed chase. It would not be car based but car and foot based like gta 3. It would be like GTA 3 except different plot. You could fly airplanes from city to city also.

 

Why not just play GTA3 and pretend you're carrying drugs. That way, you don't have to shill out yet another $50 for the same old game over and over and over again!

 

I looked at this game the other day, 'King of the Road' it was called, it's a pretty simple idea, you ferry cargo from one place to another, bit like 18 Wheeler, just more Sim Like. There's a Rival company. Shortcuts hidden about the place, and loads of other stuff. It's not criminal. But it gets appraisal.

GTA is a tried and tested formula from a bunch of scotts. It works, it's varied and makes millions of people satisfied.
It recieves shunning from multiple broadsheets and such about it's Unmoral and unethical approach.

Mix them together and you get that.

Your game is just about smuggling drugs, similar to both, really, in the eyes of GTA and KOTR, it's been done one way or another.




And if it's planes you want, shell out for MS Flight Sim.

You should have to tap a button to breath. Spend too much time without breathing and........ Game over! How would that not be cool?

 

How about a game where you run around a run-down part of town carrying a hammer and some nails. When you find a building that's run down, you just repair it, or, get in your truck and pick up supplies from the local heardware store. The better you repair something, the more nails you get.

After you repair things, you can get certified and then actually start building things and remodeling rich people's kitchens. If their dog isn't nice, you could nail it to the wall or something.

There could be a part of the game where you actually start running around putting in bids on various projects, and if you have the low bid, you win the contract!

The online part of the game would be similar, but there are many carpenter-players out to make the level even more beautiful than before.

It would be based on the proven Q3 engine, and you could actually make your own carpenter skins. Imagine, your carpenter actually looks like Karen Carpenter!

Maybe we could add a level where you need to tear down something before you start building.

Now we could have a positive gaming experience that didn't involve killing, drugs, naked people (except for some butt crack views) or violence. I think it's a winner!!!

Oh, yeah, the breathing part is a fantastic idea!

 

Well it's a thought, but it caters to too small an audience metinks.

I thought a SW game where you're a ganster and take on other gansters would be cool. It'd be more strategy (unless you worked in FPS by taking control of bounty hunters) than action but I think it has potential.
