Okay... I updated (fixed) the banner (I even fixed the "curve" image... it was slightly off) and I tweaked the icon.

I'm still not 100% satisfied with the icon...

I think everybody else either has one or is workin on one.
Mine is complete except for the robe.
It would be realy cool to get pics of everybody in costume!

I agree on the picture thing.

One oter thing I was thinking about for the website would be moveable text. It has some requirements (the latest Perl, the ability to run CGI scipts, and MySQL) to run on the server but, if those are available, it would give us the ability to keep our site fresh.

Also, I think we should, as a group, consider getting involved in some local charity events and the website would be a good place to showcase that.

I guess we should really talk about al of that when we meet.

 

I just checked out the link and it looks fantastic. Those are some good ideas for the website, and this will definitely be a good thing to discuss at the meeting.

Is everyone still fine with Saturday the 25th in the cafe of Borders at 7PM If so I'll go ahead and tell Minacia.

Well my idea sucked

I tried it out and... well... I didn't like the finished product.

I'll do up the tusken/gerdaffi stick thing soon.

In the mean time, check this out and let me know what you think.

I made the icon a PNG instead of a GIF (don't know if TFN will allow it) and it seems to be able to handle the transparency a lot better.

 

And when I look at the icon from my work computer it looks like crap

Yeah, what would be an awesome idea for our picture, would be for everyone to bring their sabers (if they have one ? )
And we could do a post thing, then we could add the sabers. it would look cool
Sam's Lightsaber (this was before I knew how to angle the blade too well, so it wasnt that good, but I do it a lot better now then I could then Malz knows how to do it too )
we could all get in poses for it, (we would have to do a LOT of Layers for that, and we could change the backgrounds and stuff I would probably need DN's help with that not that good at making the backgrounds especially with multiple layers )
