FF:WA Ideas for next WAFFER meet

I'll have to see it up here but I'll be there in spirit. Should try to get loadeddog there since that original meet was his introduction to FFWA.

Well, May the 29th is a while away, and Grizzly, you better be reading this, cause unless you're working, you gotta be there. That's soooooooooo bad grammer!

And Johnnage dude, I fly out for London on August 3 - still a while away yet.

 

Yes, I'm reading, and also looking at my shift roster.
I be on nightshift that weekend, but when I go back tomorrow I'll suss out taking some more time off (already have 2 weeks in April, which works out to having pretty much the whole month off ).

 

No fair. I want a whole month off.

What am I talking about? I have 8 weeks off come July 31.

 

Tis really only 13 days off work, but with 8 day rnr breaks either side

Put in a leave form for that weekend last night, but the server had crashed so I couldn't get an instant answer like we normally do, so I'll find out tonight.
If I'm lucky I'll fly out thursday arvo or friday morning.

Ok.. it's now 7.30 on a sunday morning.. time to go to church (the pub!)

 

Soup and myself, as well as possibly Saintheart (I'm not sure) will be at the All Fools Day Medieval Fayre on, funnilly enough, April 1st. There will be sword fighting displays, stuff for the kiddies to do, belly dancing, food and heaps more stuff, plus it's $5 entry ($3 if you're in costume) so it's nice and cheap. It'd also be something fun to do for a meet.

Would be a damn small meet, but a meet still.

 

That's a pretty good idea. I'm sure I could arrange a few locals to get together at the cinema here.

 

So what's happening for X3? I have that weekend off, flying out thursday arvo, but also have the first round of the WOTS (SOE are you planning on taping that too?) during the day both saturday and sunday so I'm not too sure about screening times yet.

Well, I'm going to X3 the Sunday after it's released and that'll be the last offical WAFFER meet I'll be attending.

As my pass is for Greater Union, I'm only going to a Greater Union cinema. We can go on a Fri/Sat night if anyone wants. I'd prefer Sat as I don't want to make two trips to Morley on the Friday.
