Yes, Master. LOL.

 

Just a heads up to everyone, we obtained a CD player for the parade with detachable speakers. We are going to test it out this weekend. Not sure what songs you want, so keep posting and let us know.

 

Woot, we have 5 troopers coming to help out.

Let me know as soon as we get the official word from them.

Is there a Denny's or something we could meet at for breakfast that day?

There's a Denny's just a few miles past the top crest of the Cajon Pass. It's on Main Street, on the right side, about a block from the freeway. Or, if you go left on Main Street, just on the other side of the overpass, there's a Bob's Big Boy.

Both are easy access and right by the freeway.

 

All right AaS! This will probably be the first time we've seen troopers in Victorville!

Okay...I really hate to be impatient, but-

Where are we supposed to meet??? (and I mean at the parade route)

 

I've seen Storm Troopers in V V before... Hi, UnderCover! cool i'll finally get to meet you...remember me from TJA? I'm also excited about the parade! it's gonna be great!

 

Of course I remember you, silly! How could I forget? You, Lazlo, and all my other pals. I hope Jedidad'll be there, too. Haven't heard from him in a while.

Well, don't expect much. I'm a shy, clumsy gal with glasses and a zit-covered face. Like I said, I'll be easy to spot; just look for the one that's too scared to move. I probably won't be able to say much more than 'hi', 'yes', or 'no' for the first half-hour. If what I've heard is true and we meet at Denny's (that is what was said earlier right? or was that for the out-of-the-area Jedi? ) my appetite will be totally gone. I'm always like that when I meet new people.

Anyway, see you in two weeks. Whee! This is exciting!

 

I propose meeting at the Denny's for some brekkie then if peple dont want brekkie we all meet at opening time at the set up venue (This could change, once we find out if we can change there or not).

 

Sorry, but I have no new information. I've been told 3 times that they will contact me. Well, I'll be calling the Chamber tomorrow anyway and will post anything I learn.

Good news/Bad news

Good stuff:

We've been accepted and are officially in the Victorville Christmas Parade!

My contact is checking to see if we have to play Christmas music. I explained that we'd like to play SW music which is played by an orchestra and is very classy... and is probably a lot better than the SW Christmas music that's available.

The car does need to have some Christmas decorations on it, not a lot, but some.

Bad stuff:

They still can't tell me what time or where to line-up or our place in the line-up of the parade. She'll send out an e-mail next week.

Oh well, at least we know we're in it and it's on Saturday, December 2 in Victorville.

Sheesh...I could throttle City Hall right now! Why, oh why can't they just give us the rest of the information and be done with it? Looks like my Dad can't get me a ride after all...unless a miracle happens. But don't worry, I'll be there...even if I have to walk and it ends up being in the 80's, I will definately be there.

More parade info:

All entries have to have some traditional decorations and if music is played, it must be traditional Christmas music.

I spoke with Sandy today. Her computer is on the fritz so I'm keeping her informed the old fashioned way, by phone. She has some garland and such to decorate the MFalcon and is looking for some silver Christmas bells to also add. They got a sound system set up so it's outside of the car. Now we need to get some traditional Christmas music on a CD. Personally, I'd like it to be from John Williams. He's got some beautiful arrangements and we might be able to slip in the SW theme.

I told her I'd pass on any information by phone.
