okay, i called the bowling alley. cosmic bowling starts at 12:30.

I was going to book 2 lanes but they wanted $20 just to book them and they dont apply that to the cost of actually bowling! Told them NO!

So, we could get there at 12:15 and try and get lanes or have the meeting somewhere else.

I think Allen and i are going to try to attend, but the library is trying to wrangle us in.

The "study rooms" at the Biane library at Victoria Gardens fit 6 max, 7 or 8 if i'm the one giving you the key. Still not very awesome.

But i think the bowling alley will be cool, though starting cosmic bowling at 12:30 seems very un-cosmic. Then again if i knew anything about business or marketing i would probably not be a librarian.

BTW i continue to be amazed at your passion and your kindness.

What's wrong with being a librarian? That's the job I want to have.

 

Besides the fact that the pay sucks (especially for a school librarian), there's not a thing wrong with being a librarian! In fact, it can be a ton of fun.

Adam, I don't have a bit of business sense. Too much paperwork.

As for passion, how can you be part of a Star Wars fan group and not be passionate? We love what we do and are always glad to find fellow addicts. Welcome aboard!

I will probably be late as I'm part of a multi-family yard sale tomorrow. Please start bowling without me, especially since I wasn't going to bowl anyway. I'll call somebody and let them know my ETA as soon as I know.

 

Hey there Kiddies! Man what a day...if it could go wrong it was today. Our car's radiator blew a hole and spewed gunk everywhere . Not a hose but the actual radiator. I took a pic, will post tomorrow. So I ordered a new one and will installing it instead of being able to attend the meeting.

Want to here something funny? Before my car decided to throw up on me, I was working on my DVD project for FCBD for our table and after 10 hours of work so far putting this together...my computer froze up. Okay you say, I'll just turn if off and reboot. That goes fine but I can't get online and...wait...say it isn't so...wouldn't you know it, my project is not only gone but somehow my computer had a virus that decided to "activate" itself and oh boy the fun fun fun we had for the next hour.

Here's the funny part, on the way to drop off my computer for repair (only $200), my car decides it doesn't like the radiator it came with and decides to blow. This gem costs me another $200. Can you see how funny this all is? You can bet I was laughing the whole time.

So...that being said, I need someone to confirm at the meeting everything for FCBD.

Here's the list:

HSF, Wifey, Dane: Picture taking, booth stud, dvd of group for tv, light saber, anything else I can muster up that would be relavent to the booth besides my handsome good looks and devilish charm.

Jedifan: I've got the banner, a table and an ex-up. If needed, I can bring some metal folding chairs, too.

benct7: I will be there with the TV/dvd combo and extension cords.

Hanchewie Clan: We have a couple of EZ ups and a couple of tables along with the Falcon.

JO & DM: Our killer humor and winning smiles / Water and Sunblock.

Symina: Leia costume.

Mommy Jedi: Will bring my cooler filled with beverages and snacks. (Possible Sticker Patrol)

Darth Cookie Monster: I'll wear my non-tradiitonal jedi

Jangosmom: Big possible maybe to show up

AboutaSith: Same as above

 

Sorry guys, I can't make the meeting because of work. I am still in for next weekend with the tv. Have Fun Bowling.
