Time to start planning another day of mischief and mayhem for the IEFF.

Discovery Center
Hike from Discovery Center Trail Head

This is the Saturday before Finals week and I'm going to be studying like a feind...

I thought we were going on the boat? I've told everyone we are going on the boat. I want to go on the boat. Can we go on the boat?

 

Because I left you off the Disneyland list, as Madame Prez, I hereby decree that we'll be going on the boat in honor of Minda and her princesses. whispering... if that's okay with the rest of you!

The meeting is only a week away. Please, we need everyone to sound off as to whether or not you can make it. I've had something major come up, so I'm not sure if I can afford it. Sucks big time, but there it is. Sometimes life is just that way.

With Comic Con fast approaching, I need all the time I have to finish my costume. Sorry! Hope it's nothing too serious, Kari.

 

Health is good. Just tough financial situation like sssooo many other people are also in.

So, does that mean you won't be attending on Saturday?

 

I am unable to attend. That's the first day of Celebration Japan, and I'll be there working at the Makuria-Messe Convention Center in the large movie sets/props and photo ops area with other members of Mary Franklin's Elite Squad. Should be blast!

I'll give a report when I can back...from Comic-Con.

Just an ideal, what if we met at Ontario Mill once more and see batmaN dark kNight and good to the food cour or one of the many fast food (Cheaper meals) in the same parking lot for a short meating after the Movie.

 

I concur! I think with all that's going on this month and the fact that we just did Disneyland, going to get a small bite eat and going to see batman would be superb.

If there's not enough peeps to even attend the movie / meeting...then we postpone our meeting until next month and whoever is going to movies can just meet up.

I do beleive we did this last year (not sure what month), to where we had to skip a meeting with all that was going on. No biggie here as stuff happens (life, money, health, etc.)

So the choices are:

Have our meet like Ronnie says (which I think is brilliant sir)

OR

Have our meeting next month (which is fine with us too)


Here's where we're at right now (FYI)...Being that we want to see batman, we're going to Ontario to do so. I think if we take a quick head count on who wants to do what as in we need to decide for a movie / meeting or skip until next month and go from there.

 

Nikol and I are in for Movie/Meeting (Or just movie if meeting is skipped)
and i am sure you all gused but this means we will not be going to the midnight showing.

I might be able to make it to Ontario I don't know for certain though. I know I wouldn't be able to go to Big Bear.

 

Whole day in BB I couldn't do, going to see Batman and a short meeting after? I could do that! (Plus we were planning on seeing it on Saturday anyway!) The earlier the better for me. Oh, and if possible, could we see it at Edwards 22? I have some movie tickets for there. If that's okay with everyone else, that is.

 

I'm going to see Batman on IMAX probably on the Monday.

Wont be at the meeting as we have a friends party up in the mountains that weekend as well as scoping more places to move to.

 

I'm disappointed that we can't do Big Bear, but am all for hitting the movies in Ontario instead.

We need to decide on a time and then get the tickets online. They'll probably be sold out otherwise.

Another option would be to check out the theater where we saw Ironman. I don't remember the name, so I can't give any info on it.

My vote is for 9:00am at the IMAX then we can get an early lunch and have a quick meeting afterwards.

I also want to see Journey To The Center of the Earth (Brendan Fraser = Yummy!). Can I talk anybody into catching that later in the day?

I forgot, I work right around the corner from the theater, so I can bring my gift tickets and redeem them for the show tomorrow, I don't know if there's a charge on Fandango, but if anyone needs me to pick up their tickets too I will be glad to do it!
