Full Series If it was your choice would you make TCW Canon or Non-Canon?

What's your choice?

 

It's a toughie. I enjoy watching The Clone Wars a lot. But I think I preferred the pre-ROTS Clone Wars timeline.

 

Canon for sure.

 

From what I've seen, Canon. The fact that Anakin was going to have an apprentice bothered me at first, but I came to accept it and like it as time went on.

I've never been too involved in the Expanded Universe (there was so much available already that it was really overwhelming) so the only stories I had experienced from that time period were the Clone Wars 2D shorts. At first I thought TCW somehow overwrote those episodes but it seems like they actually fit pretty well together. Clone Wars Chapters 1 to the first part of 22 come before TCW, while the rest of chapter 22 to 25 come after. That's why I'm not upset that TCW didn't have a finale that lead right into RoTS; The old Clone Wars show did that well and serves as the "finale" of the clone wars story for me.

 

Definitely canon. Though I'll admit there are some things in TCW that I wish just hadn't taken place, there's so much that did happen that is outstanding, and I love that as canon.

 

Non-Cannon except for Hondo, Bane, and Embo.

There are certain things about this show that I enjoyed tremendously, but on the whole I think I prefer the original, pre-TCW version of events. I have a special place in my heart for the dark horse Clone Wars comics.
