    Would love Weaver in Star Wars. In recent pictures she looks old enough as well. :)

    Madeleine Stowe. She could be good with Hamill.

    Too young? Ok fine...

    Karen Allen. She and Hamill were born 10 days apart. How is that for a match up?

    She looks stunning.

    I'd be okay with Gillian Anderson too. Just keep Mara Jade away from the story.

    My choices that would be too obvious to ever happen would be Julianne Moore or Sigourney Weaver. Julianne Moore would be more likely because she's not going to be filming another sci-fi franchise at the same time.

    I wouldn't cast a 50-60 YO actress. I don't think the BIG 3 are going to be playing their ages, in that I think E7 will be set approxiamtely 25 years post ROTJ. As Ford sahowed us in Anchorman 2 he can play 10 years younger.

    But if she's 50-60 then she can be in the next trilogy playing her actual age while looking the same age as Luke! 8-}

    But in all honesty I hope you're right about them deaging them. I want the sequal trilogy we should have gotten 10 years ago.

    IMHO this proves why deaging them with makeup is the right move, he looks amazing considering he's now actually in his 70s... and maybe just maybe explain why the casting call was for late teens and not 30 year olds who'd be about the right age for Han and Leia having kids shortly after Return of the Jedi.

    Morgan Freeman. He'll play a woman, so that Luke can have kids, but he won't alter his voice at all.

    If Luke does have a wife in the film, I think the actress should be around Hamill's age if only because I'm tired of massive age disparities when it comes to leading men and their far younger female love interests. Actresses like Julianne Moore and Gillian Anderson are wonderful but too young -- Luke's hypothetical wife should be someone he's grown old(er) and happy with. I love the suggestion of Sigourney Weaver as she's a sci-fi veteran and I'd love to see her in the Star Wars universe, but at the same time I doubt the role of Luke's wife would be substantial enough to attract such high-profile actresses.

    I say no to Sigourney Weaver for no other reason than I don't want her towering over Mark Hamill. He's rather short.

    IF Luke has a living wife, not sure I like that idea, there's no reason she couldn't be 10 years young and a complete "no-name" to us SW fans. In fact I prefer it. It would be awful IMO to have some high profile actress that had a lot of "baggage" as an actress to overshadow the dynamic. Think Julia Roberts or Gillian Anderson or Julianne Moore.
