Will John Williams live long enough to do all the music? Let the John Williams deathwatch begin!
Hans Zimmer is being lined up as a shadow composer, i hear.
Danny Elfman could do it.
Lucas is so rich he could probably keep Williams in a state of suspended animation, thawing him periodically to do the scores.
I imagine George will feed off of the classic original scores from Episode I, II & III for the most part. If John was to die he'll most likely just have Ben Burtt sample some of John's other scores into Duel of the Fates or Battle of the Heroes. How awesome would it be to have ET's theme playing when we see Yoda for the first time, or have the Supermane theme lead into that cool march theme we heard a few times in the original movies?
He could reuse some of the music from THX-1138 and/or American Graffiti since he already owns the copyrights.
NEWSFLASH! A release from AICN says that it'll be scored with pop music, like American Graffiti.
So far, we have confirmed the following titles:
Jedi B. Goode
Cryin' in the Temple
Apparently there will be a new character named Shistavanian Jack.
That will suck!
If it is a trilogy, will Lucas direct them all? I hope he gets Spielberg to direct one of them.
No, he needs to get the Wachowski brothers to do it!!
Peter Jackson, baby!
Not as awesome as it would be to see the theme cut short as he gets stomped on seconds later.
. . . I hope Yoda dies!
