JCC Trump Left (Was: If Trump wins)

Trump doesn't want to be President I think. He's merely using this as a springboard to build up brand recognition. I think he is intentionally being as loud and obnoxious as he can be because he knows it keeps him out there.

If the non-conservative news sources were sincerely afraid of him the best course of action would be to ignore him completely and not report anything on his campaign.

 

It was kinda put up or shut up time for Trump to run for President cuz he'd been "coyly" hinting at it for, like, two decades. This is for him to sell more Trump branded stuff but it has sorta backfired for his TV properties (Him on the Apprentice and his beauty pageant) but I'm thinking whatever brand he slaps his name on next it would appeal to the demographic he's courting for his presidential run (but he's really courting them to be consumers of Trump Stuff after he quits the race).

 

Like he'll ever be nominated.

 

The GOP establishment love Trump. He'll quickly sway the undecideds behind Jeb Bush in the crowded field

 

I normally don't follow the race until the day they elect but it should be interesting to see if he actually stays in the race. I would be very shocked if he got elected though....

Obama trumped trump on the night of the finale of his show. It was the best kind of trumping a president can give to a loud mouth adversary with his own show.

 

If Trump wins, Mexico will build that wall to keep Americans out.

It's funny listening to right wing radio say Trump is being attacked and demonized as if his comments were not meant to appeal to a racist voting base and he's just being honest.

 

He's being interviewed right now on MSNBC, and showing just what a clown he is. Insulting the interviewer for no reason, dodging questions, lying through his teeth, this is hard to stomach.

 

CNN basically did the same interview with him.

 

i don't care what someone's politics are , Trump isn't even comparable to Mitt Romney as a person. i saw that interview earlier. never seen someone so disrespectful. i had fairly neutral feelings about the guy a few years ago, but he's absolute trash to me now.

 

Why is everyone making a big deal about this? Lol he's probably going to drop out again doing it for the publicity.

 

not yet really. the people who think he's really going to spend a couple billion of his own money to run are clueless.

 

I actually am interested in how Trump is going to spin it as a positive when he drops out. Wouldn't he also eventually probably end up having to say nice things about whoever gets the nomination anyway? Hell, maybe Trump will be a running mate. That'll be fun, keep the Trump brand crazy in the race.

Trump is doing well in polling. In the last election nearly half this country voted GOP. That's why it's a big deal.

Yes, the polls now are completely meaningless so far from the primaries (and nationwide polls are always meaningless during primaries), he's never going to be nominated, and he probably will drop out early. But we need the indefinite money-eating spectacles we unironically call democratic elections.
