Morgaine and I are a couple. Can't afford to meet yet?

 

I'm skeptical of purely Internet relationships. Admittedly, I did meet my ex-wife online, but we didn't start dating until months after we'd met in person.

Internet relationships are silly unless you meet. IMHO. I've never had one, don't put much faith in them.

 

I met Joe (check the sig ) at the first Fan Force Meeting. So I guess we really didn't meet each other online. But we got to know each other on the JC if that counts.

 

"Dating" is such a blurry word.

 

If you are dating someone you met on the forums... my wife would kill me.

 

I have been unable to meet anyone that would want to do something like that on the forums.

 

i've never really dated anyone, in reall life or over the internet, so i don't know.

 

I voted for the first option but we're not technically "dating". I hope it works out IRL though!

Well, we WERE talking on the phone, but then my parents wigged out so now we only talk online again. ::

 

all i can say is: at least your talking to some-one, even if it is only on-line.

My girlfriend and I met on the JC and talk on the phone fairly regularly. We're hoping to meet later this summer, which is good since I'm crazy about her.

 

goldbubbly and I have been talking online for months. We've talked on the phone 4 or 5 times. I'm hoping we'll meet this summer sometime. she's wonderful. beautiful, smart, sexy, independant, a little naughtie, spunky, fun-loving, a huge sw fan, cute, kind, supporting, creative, interesting, and an all-arround great person.

I could use a tan, and she could loose a little weight, and then we'd be perfect for each other. I can't wait to meet her.

yeah, that might be, but i think it's best to be totally honest with the person you care about, even if that is sometimes a little awkward. i care about her no matter what she looks like, and my feelings for her won't change in any way if she stays the same weight. i think she's hot the way she is, but i'd find her even more hot if she was just slightly slimer. i don't mean it as anything derogitory. she knows how i feel about her, and that it's simply a suggestion. i'll take her either way as well.

I really don't trust "dating" someone over the net. For one thing u have no idea what they are really like, and one of my friends had a gf over then net and she was purely using him to get presents. He'd send her bday/xmas etc. presents and she never sent him one b/c she was always "out of $$." SURE SHE WAS!
