Can you, for the love of god, let Adwyn edit it please?
Was the prophesy misread? Yoda says in the second or third episode that it may have been misread.
What if the force was not going to be balanced through the chosen one?
What if the prophesy meant that the seed or children or kid or grand kid of the chosen one was going to bring balance to the force and save they day?
where can I park my speeder?
Yeah it was mis-read. Luke brought balance to the force instead of his whining pops.
no. i mean, maybe luke still has to do more things
i mean why else have more films if the force was already balanced?
If you were the Sith and balance was brought to the Force, would you just not bother trying to unbalance it, because the Jedi assumed they had won? That is of course going on the assumption that the Sith are going to be the main antagonists.
I don't recall Luke doing much to fulfill the prophecy while writhing in agony on the floor.
I am not particular about the story/characters. So I would just ask:
Could you please make sure continuity (ship designs, sound effects, looks of aliens/planets, score, etc.) is given close attention?
I guess that's more of a request...if its more of an informational question, it'd be:
How far after ROTJ WILL the movies be-and will the big three be in it-if so, who will be the actors? (Please tell me you're not re-casting them!)
I guess these questions would seem rather obvious...
Do a barrel roll?
Will it be LE-GEN-DARY?
Squibs will there be?
Who will wear Jedi robes?
Which cup is the marble under?
Well apart from standing up to Vader and Palpatine, distracting Palpaltine, defeating and turning Vader.
And why everyone should do it tonight?
So Luke was indirectly responsible for it; while Anakin's direct actions were what actually accomplished it. Glad we cleared that up.
What the hell is an aluminum falcon?
it is the really old ships the ancient jedi flew in back when they still had aluminium antennas and only a few TV shows to watch
Sounds like a thrown unopened beer can.
Who is the bad guy?
Why, George, do you hate the Expanded Universe so much when it has made you so much money and is responsible for the release of the prequel trilogy and brought about the Star Wars revival that is the cause of this deal that has just made you $4.5 billion?
Right. He prefers to create original stories instead of copying someone else's work, therefore he hates everyone else's work. Makes sense to me.
Will Ben or Jaina be in it? Or, will the EU survive?
That's not what I'm saying, far from it. But imo, he shouldm't just steamroll over whatever he doesn't like. If there is something that "conflicts with his vision" then he should say, "No, that is not how I see it." Not just take something he allowed out there and transform in so ity is the same only in name. He should say, "Mandalore is pacifist, not a warrior culture," or, "No, Even Piell died differently, make that someone else,' or even, maybe, say, "Just learned Adi Gallia died differently. It would be just as easy t create a new Jedi for the role. They'll die instead.
He should treat it with some respect, since without the EU, Star Wars probably would have stayed dead and the Prequels never would have been made. He's been willing to rake in all the money the EU has taken in and reap the good fortune the Expanded Universe has given him. He should treat it with respect then too. He should be willing to treat it as canon if he is willing to make money off it. EVerything he's done so far to conflict with canon so far have been easily avoidable if he tried a bit.
Simple as that. He doesn't need to copy someone else's work, make original stuff, but be like all the other people that have been making him money and make his original stories work alongside longstanding works.
