filet miginon isnt the best type of beef in my opinion. skirt steak, flank steak or a big meaty t bone is awesome

Well, depends on how you're preparing the meat. If you're looking for soft, tender meat to savor over the night, then you definitely want a filte miginon. But if you're looking for a quick, satisfying juice-popping night, then nothing would be better than a bone-in steak.

well you can have a fancy dinner with a tbone. you have two different types of beef in that tbone. one side you have a strip steak and i think the other side is a filet mignion. but it all depends on the marbling. I really want to try kobe beef. they say its the best

:) now the best way to cook a steak is searing it in a pan, then cooking it in the oven. and then making a sauce out of the bits that are stuck on the bottom of the pan with either some good quality alhcol or some beef stock and then putting in some shallots, and then with the steak a good side of mashed potatos and some peas with sauuted onions.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one, hon. The best way to cook a steak is on a grill. Hands down. A little bit of salt, some garlic powder, and some pepper corn to seal the flavor. That's how you cook steak!

I don't ruin perfectly good steaks by putting sauces on them. Properly prepared steak is delicious in its own juices.
