If you could change a story line, what would it be ?

I don't want any future visions here. Just stuff that has already happened any where in the EU.( Books or Comics Only , please ).

1) Mara Jade still as Mara Jade

2) No little Ben

3)Luke still a big character

4) Anakin still alive

5) Yours here.......

Just interested in your thoughts

 

I want Lando to play a larger role in the EU. They started upon that with SBS. In DJ he was ignored again. I also long for the return of the Sith, but as I have read GL says "hell no". What about the droids, they had some funny moments in New Republic era EU, they weren't around at all DJ. Bring back the humor...I think we can count on Allston for that.

 

Chewie would still be alive
Anakin would still be alive
The Emperor would never have been cloned
Luke would have killed Kyp
Corran would have died (somehow)
Jar Jar would never have been born

but seriously, it's star wars... i would never change it...

 

There's many things that I would like to have been done differently. But it I have to chose just one, it would be for Anakin to still be alive.

ANAKIN IS STILL ALIVE! hes the best character why did they have to kill him off?

 

OK, I'm not trying to stir the pot and make trouble. If we could get our creative juices going, what would we change ?

 

Just one change:
Return of the Jedi - Luke and the corpse of Darth Vader reach the shuttle but the engine's don't start ...

 

the shield never went down, the ewoks were slaughtered in seconds by the imperials... luke turned to the dark side. the empire beat the rebels. the empire met the vong.

 

I would'nt change anything, exept for delete Children of the Jedi, and Crystal Star completly.

i wonder what would have happened if the yuuzhan vong invaded at the empires prime, and were met by their full fleet of 27,000 imperial star destroyers. the empire sure would hve taken care of the vong threat, thats for sure.

 

I'd get rid of that whole Callista thing.

I'd make Jar Jar a little less idiotic and more military-like.

Oh, and I would make Corran a little less perfect.

 

Agreed I would have liked to see my Palpatine would have dealt with the Vong. Also to Anakin SKYWALKER make it off the deathstar!

 

OH boy opens a whole can of worms.

Leave the saga itself alone. Jar Jar is meant to be comic and like a jester.

anyway well I'd change how the Jedi Order was recreated.
I'd have Luke & Mara never marry because Jedi can't marry.

and i'd get rid of the borg like Vong we need to have species which can be seen through the Force.

The imperials would have been defeated in ROTJ and the Republic would have been created again. The imperials would have surrendered at the end of ROTJ when their main force was destroyed.

No grand admiral thrawn.

The Jedi temple would have been rebuilt on coruscant and that would be where the jedi would be trained (this is subject to whether the JT is destroyed in EP3)

I would change the fact that Han and Leia were married before CoPL. All the rest of the EU I think I can handle, but that little thing is just driving me nuts.

 

Ben no Force Potential. Jaina still Dark Side. Droma still there.

Do you think he'd have any trouble with "dark side" uses of the force when it comes to the Vong ?....neat idea.

 

I would have made Fett an intregal part of the NJO and as a good guy. I would have him come and offer services in Rebirth, only to die heroically saving Han & Leia(imagine that) from a coralskipper on Coruscant. He would fly and try to fire his torpedoes but would be out and instead of letting Han and Leia be killed would come from nowhere and ram the skip with his ship. Huge fireball esues and the falcon makes it away. Han realizing that maybe Fett wasn't so bad afterall, he was just doing his job. I know it would probably never have happened, but that is what I would do. Just think of all the awkward moments Fett and Han would have.
Fett: "Hi."
Han: "Same to you, I guess we are on the same team now."
Fett: "Yep."
Han: "Were you just doing your job or did you want to murder me and my family all those times?"
Fett:"....."
Han: "....."
awkward silence number one underway.
