if it´s not a JW title, then it would most likely be "Brothers in Arms" (Dire Straits) and "Now we are free" (Gladiator Soundtrack)

I would like to have Across the Stars, just because it's the first one I could think of and I think it's so beautiful. It could portray my life perfectly

    John Williams:
    Across the Stars
    Princess Leia theme

Non JW: title theme of "the prince of tides" [J.N. Howard] (Even when I'm very optimistic, this track manages to give me tears! Pure beauty! [face_love] Yeah, I'm a sucker for romantic scores :p)

    Hhmmm......I have a few:
Across the Stars, Chase on Coruscant, (I intend to be cremated, so this could play as they pour on the gasoline and light the match, the music would be perfect as everyone runs away) Or, non JW, either Helm's Deep or Gollum's song.
    Yes! I am strange!

    From Star Wars?

Yoda's Death or Light of the Force

From Star Wars video games, X-wing had a nice funeral march of the Force theme...

From a fellow gamer to gamer, hey Senator! I'd just like to point out that "Darth Sidious' Theme" is really Palpatine's theme.
Don't believe me? Listen to the ROTJ CD2 and you'll hear it a ton there too.

    Your both wrong!

It is called The Emperor Main Theme!

    The Jaws theme.

As one last hurrah to see how many people keep their faces straight and later deny it when they're chewing out relative for laughing too.

Not that I'm going to be able to pull them up about it but still.

    Muahahahaa!

    Seriously it would folks!

As they haul my ass to the cemetary, I'd want them to play the music made for Boba dragging Han off to Slave 1.

Then when they lower my casket into the grave, I want the same music played when Han was lowered into the carbonite.

I tend not to think about death much, but if I was going to play a John William music track at my funeral it would have to be the beautiful Binary Sunset. I always get goosebumps when I listen to that music and it is one of my favourite pieces of music in the movie industry.

    Not that it would help when your dead. 8-}

Well, I was going to post Light of the Force, but upon further consideration I would have to type either Binary Sunset or the Alternate Binary Sunset... (perhaps not... it is a bit too dark maybe... but oh, how mysterious it is)...

I had thought that Dies Irae (Day of Wrath) from Mozart's Requiem would be a pretty awesome way to go out... but then again -- remembering that my funeral isn't actually for me but friends and family... I guess something less angry and 'end of the world-ish' would be more in order.
