My pick: Quentin Tarantino.
And with that, I leave it to the floor. Who would you pick?
Do I need to duck for cover?
"Draw faster, more intense. No, not you, the character. Faster, more intense."
He might be the one to bring Ahsoka Skye into Rebels.

Karen Traviss to direct the finale of Mandalorian episodes!
Kidding, kidding. But it'd be cool.
Also, after watching Gravity last night in the cinema, Alfonso Cuarón.
Terence Malick (perhaps another D-Squad arc).
I personally have always wondered what Spielberg could do if he ever could do something SW related.
Lesli Linka Glatter
Katie Lucas; I'm such a fan.
Well, we would discover the new Force ability "Force bomb" in which a Force user can focus on an inanimate object and cause it to spontaneously go up in a massive fiery gasoline explosion.
Isn't there already something called the "Force bomb"? Also, I believe you're confusing Roland Emmerich for Michael Bay.
Doh! You're right. I totally mixed them up. I saw Emmerich but for some reason my mind thought of Bay and his worlds made of explodium. Emmerich is the over-the-top disaster movie guy. I mean, I know that, but I don't know why I... eh, it was a brain fart.
Is it the wine talking, or is the larger point that we need a director who will allow characters to use the Force to blow **** up?
Whoever did John Carter.
Andrew Stanton! The director of Finding Nemo and Wall-E.
Joaquim Dos Santos (who I actually think stands a good chance of working in Rebels), Dan Riba, Lauren Montgomery, Giancarlo Volpe (who may migrate over from his work on TCW), and Sam Liu. All excellent directors whose foremost expertise is in the field of animation, and each has the resumé, including work on both Avatar series, Justice League and the larger DCAU, and numerous animated films.
Guillermo del Toro
As long as it isn't Sam Raimi. If he directs anything SW, I swear I will lose all faith in Kathleen Kennedy and sadly turn away from what will have been a once great and shining beacon of sci-fi story-telling. I will boycott Disney, too. He ruined the Sword of Truth by turning it into a Xena clone, and that's not the type of "clone" we need in SW.
As for who it should be, how about the guy who directed Dark City?
