If you could put together a CD collection...

Suppose you could put together a compilation of movie music, featuring what you considered to be the best movie music ever produced. What music would you put on?
There's a lot of great music, so try to limit it to your favorite 5 or 10.

Me? I'd put on, in no particular order:

Star Wars
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Superman
Magnificent Seven
Over the Rainbow
Bridge on the River Kwai
Gone With the Wind
Rocky


I could go on for a long time.

Tracks? or Films? It's a tough one either way. Number one would definitely be Battlestar Galactica.

 

I'd say either. Personally, I was thinking main themes for my list. But interpret it any way you'd like.

 

Star Wars
Lord of the Rings
Atlantis: The Lost Empire & Treasure Planet (They're by the same guy, and follow the same basic template)
Kung-Fu Panda
The Hunchback of Notre Dame

 

I'd contribute, but there'd just be way too many I'd want to list as I'd inevitably feel bad about leaving some out! Unless you want to read a mile long list. lol But I can assure you that Star Wars would, naturally, be there.
