I, Jedi seems to be a popular target...although i still liked the title...

There was a book called 'Mission to Mount Yoda'? Sounds like a porno. Did they ever wind up getting on top of the little green guy? Poor little muppet. Wow. That's a really unfortunate title.

More recently, I thought that 'Edge of Victory' was a bit of a misnomer. How about 'Everything that Happened in the Last Six Books All Over Again' or to use that famous Star Wars quote 'I Have A Bad Feeling About This'.

I'm not a big fan of the title or word 'Darksaber'. I suppose they could have called it 'The Not So Bright One' but everyone would have thought they were referring to Skywalker himself.




And now for the Jedi mind trick:
This is humor. I don't feel like stamping every snide remark as such, but trust me, it is not a serious judgement of anything I have or have not read. None of the stuff we're talking about is real. Taking it personally won't do you any good, so take a deep breath and move along. Yes, we know it is really Mission From Mount Yoda, but it was not referred to as such in the post above where it is first mentioned in this thread. Yes, NJO has some good points but some people might sympathize with comments about it's repetitiveness. No, I haven't read Darksaber and yes, I know some people think Skywalker is rather smart. That's not the point. If you find yourself unamused, take a deep breath and find a girlfriend.

Vong_Killer - You're totally right. When IS Zahn gonna come fix it all? After he fixed all the old crap with Specter and Vision, they just go and mess it up again!

As for what I would change? Not to cut on the book that's cut on more then anything else, but I'd change "Children of the Jedi" to "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." Did anyone else think the part where Callista and Cray switched places was a BIT lame?
