SWC If You Could Use the Force IRL...

Imagine a situation in your daily existence where you would call upon the Force and for what purpose.

 

Fantasized about that many times myself.

 

i'd open automatic doors with the force...

 

Would you be able to resist using the Jedi mind trick in bars & clubs? Come on, be honest...

I'm guessing many people would give in to this temptation when in the presence of a 10/10 stunner. The Sith would've given it a hammering in their off hours

 

You want to go back to my place and rethink your life.

 

I guess this boils down to 2 things doesn't it. Are you going to:

a) Use your powers to trick, throw, fry or choke your way to getting what you want
or
b) Use you powers to help others in whatever capacity that might be e.g. force jump into a burning and save someone etc.

I think we'd all like to say 'b' but would give in to the temptation of 'a' sometimes.

 

I would have everyone believing that squirrels were the droids they were looking for.

 

I would show everyone that size doesn't matter.

 

I'd never get another traffic ticket. If I really felt like playing I'd let them give me the ticket then show up and get out of it.

I'd never be short of cash.

I could see myself going on patrol and making drug dealers and gang members go somewhere else and leave people alone.

I would be concerned about permenency though. When Obi Wan made him go home and rethink his life did he go home and do so or did he snap out of it at some point and relize he been duped?

 

If I could use the Force some taxi drivers would be in a lot, and I mean a lot of trouble.

 

I wouldn't as how it's depicted in SW. The approach is wrong to me.

 

A & B aren't mutually exclusive. You could do both.

Anyway I'd go to Vegas & win at roulette every time with a slight wave of my hand. I'd then use my ill gotten gains on charitable causes. I'd become a Jedi Robin Hood

 

I'd do that too.

 

I can already do that. Whenever I walk up to them they seem to open.

 

I've been doing that since I was 5. That would be a good way to conceal your true power, Merky.

 

Could also make an elevator go up while you're in it

I might momentarily Force-choke myself to prevent from saying some irrelevant nonsense.

 

I would help others but the temptation to abuse or show off would always be present.

anyone ticking me off, I would trick them into going home and rethinking their life

 

--I would LOVE to be able to "force-jump" like Jedi do during fight situations...not that this is relevant to my daily life at all, but it just looks so cool (and fun)...

--I would also use getting in touch with the Force through meditation to bring a greater sense of peace and harmony to my life.
