My childhood dream job was to be an adult. i have only met it with moderate success.

 

My profession would be: Nurse (which would be awkward since I developed a fear of needles and blood)
My husband would be: Robin from the 60s Batman tv show (DON'T JUDGE ME!!!)
My car would be: car? Mercedes Benz (I had no idea what that was but everyone put that down when we played MASH and I wanted to be cool too!)
My home would be: Paradise Estate from My Little Ponies or a cabin in the woods (non-scary kind with deer and birds and kitties and stuff)
My best friend would be: Optimus Prime and a bunch of talking cats
My backyard would have: one of those giant trampolines
My dinners would include: lasagna and gummi bears
My kids would be named: Daina (inspired by Step-by-Step), Alicia (after my BFF at the time)
My pet would be: Mrs Frisby or one of the My Little Ponies

 

My profession would be: no idea
My wife would be: don't remember
My car would be: didn't care
My home would be: I liked my house just fine
My best friend would be: probably the best friend I had at the time
My backyard would have: a pool. Go **** yourself, Colorado River!
My dinners would include: depending on young I was, it would've been McDonald's. Today it would be In-N-Out. I am no longer a child.
My kids would be named: I don't think I cared. To me it was multiple lifetimes before I would have kids.
My pet would be: probably the same pets I had at the time? I didn't really like when my pets died.

 

My profession would be: President of the United States
My wife would be: The original Pink Power Ranger
My car would be: Optimus Prime
My home would be: The Disney Contemporary Resort, the whole thing, not just one room.
My backyard would have: A pool with a slide that starts at my room so I can wake up and just slide down
My dinners would include: Pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, normal food really
My kids would be named: Eh, never really thought about it until my later adolescent dreams.
My pets would be: A T-Rex, a turtle, and a cat.

 

You can still have a landing strip with a little work.

 

My profession would be: Paleontologist, Muppeteer or Video Game Programmer.
My spouse would be: Jennifer Connelly
My car would be: Herbie
My home would be: the house from Silver Spoons.
My best friend would be: the geeky guy from Whiz Kids
My backyard would have: a waterslide
My dinners would include: a milk shake
My kids would be named: Thing 1, Thing 2.
My pet would be: K9 and Muffitt

My home would be: I don't think I really thought about it, but I probably would have said the house I lived in.
My best friend would be: Darkwing Duck
My backyard would have: A really large slide that ends in a lake, a theater and a ballet studio.
My dinners would include: Chicken and dumplings
My kids would be named: The only one I can remember thinking about was Dartanian, but I may have been a little older
My pet would be: a penguin

My husband would be: never thought of that XD
My car would be: a slick all black motorcycle, really fast and quiet. (I still want this haha)
My home would be: something that looks futuristic like in the Venus project
My best friend would be: probably the best friend I have now. I've known him since I was a kid anyways
My backyard would have: a view of the city because I'd be up in the hills, a deck with a hot tub and barbecue
My dinners would include: steaks and veggies. Keeping it simple sort of.
My kids would be named: I never thought of that haha
My pet would be: a cutesey greyhound

 

If you had steak for the rest of your life, when you're in your 50's you'll begin to hate your childhood aspirations.

 

I like to think I'd take the Ron Swanson approach.
