We all know IG88 our famous Bounty Hunter badass droid.

We all have seen the IG Lancers in action in the Clone Wars, as well as other Models.

So, how many models do we know by now, in what order did they appear chronologically and number-wise?

How does IG88's backstory still work with the Alderaanian company and the retcon later that IGs came from Muunilinst and the Intergalactic Banking Clan.

New infos on CW IGs also in the latest CW campaign guide^^

Original research was done by Phlut Design Systems, a small firm based on Muunlinst with the intent to sell them to the TF under "Project Phlutdroid"; the early results were the "Phlutdroids". The company was absorbed by the IGBC for nonpayment and turned over to an ally, Holowan Mechanicals; they kept the finished droids, renaming them; the "IG" is a reference to the Banking Clan. Those droids became the IG Lancer Combat Droids. Phlut also had blueprints for 99 different battle droid variations that were never produced, given the names IG 1-99 by Holowan. They went ahead and built an entirely new droid first, the IG-100 MagnaGuards. Holowan survived the Clone Wars because it had been accepting money from both sides; they went back to the earlier designs and built two of the models (IG-97 and IG-72) before settling on IG-88, building four models - which promptly killed the lab techs and fled. Whether Holowan built any more of the IG series is "unknown" according to the NEGD.

The Clone Wras Visual Guide mentions that the IG-100 Magna Droids were designed using systems from the earlier IG Lancer Droids, which may be a new retcon, I dunno. :)

No, that follows the existing history. The IG Lancer Droids were actually made by Phlut before they were shut down. The IG-100s were new designs by Holowan based on Phlut's droid ideas.
