It looks to me like them trying to capture some of the Gillen/McKelvie vibe, but I guess I'd rather they shoot for relevance and fall short than not bother trying.

It's not your fault, but I'm so sick of people kvetching about the selfie.

It's selfie MONTH. All the comics will have selfie covers. Yes, it's stupid. No, it's not confined to Batgirl.

Also, to answer Cooper; Cam is friends with Gillen and McKelvie and in that same age range and likes a lot of the same stuff, so I think it's just as much of drawing on a lot of the same material and tapping the same headspace as specifically trying to lift Keiron and McKitten's vibe.

 

I think a little part of my soul just died.

 

I know nothing about the new creators, I admit, but questioning DC's motives is basically a bodily function at this point (case in point: selfie month). And speaking of which, oh my god, so much LGBT you guys, like LGBT all over the place.

(and, yes, selfie month is horrible, but I was starting to get an involuntary twitch when people went off on Batgirl for that singular thing when it's infected all of DC for the month)

Before you do that: Are all your affairs in order?

 

On second thought, reading through this Dr Stoet's claims, even baking cakes probably goes against women's natures, as culinary science is probably too difficult for female brains to handle.

I should just tell my friend to stick to washing up.

 

I'm guessing he also would love to tell you similar things about minorities.

But the good news is that women can do his job, since it apparently doesn't actually involve use science in any way.
