    And really, this is the issue. This thread doesn’t break the TOS, but common sense says it’s garbage (as it’s about the fifth in a series) but no mod will lock it because TOS! At some point common sense must prevail.

    Waffle House is a southern thing. The last time I was in a Waffle House was over a decade ago when I had an extended vacation in Florida.

    We don’t normally stop at Waffle House unless it’s a clean restaurant. At some of the locations we’ve stopped at, some workers didn’t wash their hands.

    If you’re making the thread for discussion, then discuss. You should have taken the hint from the response to your last restaurant threads that people around here are not particularly interested in discussing chain restaurants, which is why you are getting the reaction that you are. If you get a feel for this place you will discover that people here can tell you, for example, what local place in New York City that you can get the best pizza, but there is a pretty harsh disdain for Pizza Hut and Domino’s.

    Not everyone here is American, and even in the US, chain restaurants are not national.

    Look, nobody has a favorite chain restaurant. If there's one near you, you might go there and eat there sometimes out of convenience. That's about it.

    Starbucks is strictly gift card worthy. I’m not keen on paying nearly as much for a Venti English breakfast tea with a small amount of whole milk as I can pay for a box of black tea tea bags of superior quality.
