i'm getting nervous with all these CELABRITIES popping up in that list. i hope it's not going to be annoying, like in the thin red line where every character is a CELABIRTY.

Ah good, a finite limit on how long I have to read Mark Frost's book.

Fans of the original series likely have a pressing question about Machlachlan's role in the series ;)

Miguel Ferrer, AKA the unforgettable Agent Albert Rosenfield, has passed away at the age of 61.

Easily one of my favourite Twin Peaks characters, in a show so full of memorable and colourful characters that it's virtually impossible to pick a favourite.

IMHO, here's quite possibly his finest performance in the show, with next to no dialogue:

    :(

Albert was supposed to be in the series. I wonder what effect Ferrer's passing will have.

The ET coverage of the cast reunion. The editing will make you want to stab your eyes out, but the interviews with the cast are good.

I'm just going to bed after injecting four hours of pure, undiluted David Lynch in my eyeballs. It hurts so good.

    . . . . well .

LOL! what can you say , that's David Lynch alright .

It was engrossing and crazy and sexy and creepy and everything you'd expect .

did anyone else get a Kubricky vibe from some of the shots btw ?

It was more like Fire Walk With Me and Lost Highway than the original TP series , I mean there wasn't really any soap opera or much of the town , is Lynch directing all of them ?

It felt like a distilled concentrate of Lynch's whole filmography. There was Lost Highway, yes, and also Mulholland Drive, and Inland Empire, and even Eraserhead. It's completely non-compromising and I suspect that it's going to do for prestige TV what the original series did for primetime soaps.

I don't want to talk any more about it until everyone has had a chance to see it. I just want to say that this not an exercise in nostalgia. This is no Fuller House. Sure, Lynch loves the world and characters and he's obviously giddy to be back to them, but this is David Lynch's next oeuvre, with everything that implies.

I'll probably be rewatching the whole thing through the week. I'm in heaven (everything is fine.)
