Wouldn't a penguin in Phoenix succumb to spontaneous combustion? That might fend off boredom for a little bit

 

Penguins do migrate (ie to beaches in Australia, for instance). Having large blocks of ice and turning the air conditioning to super cold helps, too.

TD0690 calls for back up along with his trusty dewback. Any army of Sandtroopers on dewbacks arrive as the Sandtroopers blast the army of penguins, the dewbacks start to gobble up the pieces. When inside the stomach of the dewbacks the penguin pieces are unable to regenerate in the stomach acid.
