well tragic, care to shed alittle light on that?
yes, do tell
From http://mattfischer.com/ramen/ which says it is the Official Ramen Homepage:
Ramen (rah-men): A noodle phenomenon. Ramen has become the accepted standard college snack/meal food of choice. Whether you are tired of cafeteria food, or you need a quick snack, Ramen is the perfect food. It is cheap, easy to make, and it tastes good.
A good example of a basic ramen is Mr Noodles. I could explain it better but I have a mid-term to study for and I expect someone else will post about this soon enough. (Cris~, Tragic?)
ahhh ramen! I know what`s what now
Mr. Noodles is to real ramen what day old McDonald's is to a nicely bbq'd burger.
[link=http://www.worldramen.net/]The World Ramen[/link] site offers some wonderful images of ramen from legendary ramen shops across Japan and throughout the world. Believe me when I say you've never had a meal as yummy as a nicely prepared bowl of Ramen.
Mr.Noodles? yuck, sorry to say I hate that stuff. Hopefully it's better then that.
BTW, it wouldnt happen to come in vegitarian, would it?
LOL I`m a wannabe vegetarian...I don`t wanna eat meat, but I can`t stop!
I try to compromise by eating lots of McDonalds
Most definitely you can get vegetarian Ramen. If you simply don't eat red-meat, go for the chicken ramen. Else there's seafood ramen. Or strictly veggie ramen (with delicious seaweed, carrots, sprouts and ginger shoots... mmmmm yummy).
The more strict a vegetarian you are, the more I suggest you seek out a restaurant catering to Buddhists - as there is less a chance that the stock has been prepared with meat. Or you can make it at home - veggie soup stock, noodles procured from a specialty market, bean sprouts, cubes of fried tofu, scallions, and dozens of other tasty veggies cut and prepared in interesting ways (look to the ramen gallery in the link I gave above for some interesting ideas of presentation).
Ramen is just the thing for a cold winters day.
LOL, do you work for them or somethin`?
Work for them... why.. no....
Crikey the jig is up! Feets don't fails me now.
(Tragic leaps out the window - steaming bowl of tasty, nutritious ramen in hand)
Don`t worry..your marketing ploy worked, I wanna try some now
well im not too strict, basically i cant handle blood, and knowing blood ran through the vains of what im eating isnt to appitizing. i do make compromises tho, like if im out with friends and they want pepperoni on the pizza, or im at one of there houses.
your marketing worked on me too!!
we'll have a ramen party in here sometime!
My work here is done. Up up and a hi-yo silver away!!!!
LOL dear god...
awesome cartoon tragic, you drew it right?
Yep, scribbled it together in Corel Painter.
