I'm going to Japan March 2003

Hello! I'm from the Portland Fan Force just starting up in Oregon. I actually live by Salem. Anyway, I'm preparing to go on a year long foreign exchange to Nihon soon. I'm in my third year in Japanese, but that just means I still know very little. I don't have my host family yet, so I don't know exactly where I'll be going. Just saying hi. ttyl

I got a host family last week. I'll be going to Kisogawa. It's close to Nagoya. I don't know much more about the location. I'm looking forward to it.

I don't know much about Kisogawa either, but I know they have a beautiful river "Kisogawa".

I`ve been in Japan for a month now, and this is the first time since the hotel that I`ve had internet access. I`m at my high school, my homeroom teacher is letting me use it. I`ll try to check in when I can, but I`m busy with school, basketball, and learning about Japan in general. It`s a lot of fun, and I love it here. I went to Nagoya by train yesterday. It`s hard to keep my budget. ttyl
