Waru be praised, I've finally managed to register on here!

So it looks like I've been registered here since December, which I suppose is technically true. But there was a glitch with my email and I never received the confirmation password. So finally I had to register with a different account (on my work email ) and pester the admins until this account was finally loosed from her moorings and ready to roll. In other words, I've been lurking around here for so long that I feel like I already know some of the people here even though this is my first post! =P

So, um, yeah. Despite my (relatively) older age, 28, I'm kind of a new Star Wars fan, having watched the prequels before I ever saw the originals (but I like them both). And now I've branched off into the EU and in the middle of reading every SW novel ever put out--well, minus most of the junior novels. As such, you'll likely find me spending most of my time in Lit.

Anyway, my favorite(s), as indicated by my avy, would be the Solo kids, especially the twins. As such, I have very mixed feelings on the LotF series. >_<

Another favorite would be Tahiri, mainly because, like her, I'd rather go barefoot. =P

 

Eh, not exactly. I do love Talon Karrde, but my love of Talons is reserved for something else.

Ahem...Hello, Rew! I'm glad to see you like the books- they are awesome. Have you read the X-wing books? Those are definitely my favorite. Well those and all of the other ones where the characters aren't being stupid.

Haha! At any rate, no, I haven't gotten to the X-Wing series yet, but it's coming up soon! I'm reading all the books in general order of release date, but am making sure I read whole series at the same time. Right now I'm on YJK, and after that comes Dark Forces, Bounty Hunter Wars, then X-Wing. (I do wish, however, that I'd read the Rogue Squadron subseries before I got to I, Jedi last month because I didn't know anything about Corran, Mirax, Booster, etc. ) Besides X-Wing, what others do you like?

Thank you again! Yeah, I registered, but because my email is Juno, the password never reached me--not even the junk mail folders. Really weird. So I had to get one or two of the admins to help me out manually on a separate account. But I have to say, it's been worth the wait so far!
