Oh we'll go drinking when I come to the island, and then you can drink yourself silly at the formal.
Derek, how can you survive that long?
Well, Derek might not be getting drunk but he is getting...nevermind.
*tries to wait patienly as "A-day" approaches*
No, I won't get drunk at your formal.
What will I be getting? ?
Adult day? as in legal drinking age?
Ah, I see.
Is there such a day?
Derek= You know exactly what you'll be getting.
i meant A-day as in "ask her day". Adult day is still too many years off for me to worry about. i'll have to do that stuff illegally . if i'm gonna ask her, it'll have to be tomorrow. i dunno if i've got the guts to do it...
*waves flag* Go Adam go!
We're all here behind ya, Adam. We'll wait for the word tomorrow!
i'm askin her out in a few short hours. God, im nervous.
ohhhh... ok. don't worry. Ryan was incredibly nervous when he asked me out. but I thought it was really cute! I was also incredibly oblivious to the fact that he liked me, even after going to the movies twice and out for lunch with him...and still didn't have it click when he asked if I wanted to go for a walk on the beach! but don't worry, most girls aren't as 'blind' as a was.
actually, we only aren't blind when it has to do with someone else.. lol.. just ask Tammy how Chicken I was.. lol... *bug-GAWK*... I could tell any time that someone else liked one of my friends, but anytime that it came to someone liking me, I was completely oblivious!!!! I think it has to do with the whole self-esteem thing..
oh man, it went awful. Seriously awful. i didn't even ask her. i suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
That's too bad . . .
EDIT: what happened?
Dude, what'd you do? ?
dunno. i just kinda freaked out. i'll tell you guys everything later on, i guess.
Aw, Adam...I'm sorry, man...
When you freaked out, was it noticable? In other words, did she notice? If not, then it's all good. You can still try again.
i dunno. i hope not. i think not, too. i dont mean that i dont think, but that i dont think she noticed.
awww AT! you really should just go for it. Even if should would say no, which is the absolute worst she could do, she'd prolly think it was really cool that you even asked her. The whole courage thing, even if faked at the time, is really a good thing to us girls, we like it.
BTW, The reason I was oblivious to Ryan's attempts was the fact that like 3 days prior I had sworn off guys until after school. That didn't quite go over well!!!
If it helps, some girls think it's cute when guys get really flustered. It makes them seem sweet.
