Geeze Krash, nobody was trying to be mean or offensive, we were just joking around a bit man, don't take it that seriously.

Krash is right. Tone the stuff down. It's off-topic, in very poor taste, and downright ridiculous. If I wasn't mistaken, I'd call this type of posting "trolling". If noone knows the term means, let me refresh everyone's memory:

troll 1. v.,n. [From the Usenet group alt.folklore.urban] To utter a
posting on Usenet (or message boards such as this one) designed to attract predictable responses or
flames; or, the post itself. Derives from the phrase "trolling for
newbies" which in turn comes from mainstream "trolling", a style of
fishing in which one trails bait through a likely spot hoping for a
bite.

And I believe trolling is grounds for being banned. I'd consider it a kind gesture that Krash has only given you warnings.

I'd also advise not replying to posts such as these. It is best to simply ignore them, although it is tempting to reply. It just adds "fuel to the fire" and gives more incentive to individuals who post this type of nonsense.

If there's nothing more to say about the subject, I ask that you stay on topic on your posts, and keep the tasteless posts out of the forums please. If you have questions, read the TERMS OF SERVICE. If you cannot adhere to the Terms of Service, further action will be taken, up to and including permament suspension.

Pertaining to Krash, I heard about this from Darthmaul3162, I know Him. At first I didn't want to become a member because I thought it would cost money, when I found out it didn't cost anything, and I could post things and make polls, I joined right away. I'm the one that actually got Darthmaul3162 into Star Wars, but being the Computer/Internet geek that he is he found this site and told me about it.

At first I didn't want to become a member because I thought it would cost money
It doesn't cost anything to to be a member...but we do alot of things as a group, including some fundraising to cover our "operating costs" (no more then $1-2 per person) But at least you are having fun...while allowing us to do some of the things necessary for recruiting and stuff.

 

Hello all!

I met Krash about a week and a half ago at the Poster Pit in Parma [say that 5 times fast], and he gave me an informal invite to join your community. So, here I am. I may as well tell you a little about myself...

-I live in Twinsburg
-I've been collecting SW since the beginning, but have since stopped. Nothing wrong with the toys, just can't spread my funds too thin.
-Although I no longer collect, I still keep an eye out for the new stuff, to keep other local friends apprised of what's out there.
-Still interested as ever about the movies and lore surrounding SW, so I'm still just as 'in' as before, just not as poor

It looks like I'll enjoy my time here, and thanks again to Krash for his suggestion to come here.

Welcome to the boards Brian! It was pure luck that I ran into you at Collector's Warehouse. I was trying to sell some of the leftovers from B4KS...noticed someone looking through the pieces-parts GI Joe and Star Wars toys, and figured "might as well say hello"
