The only problem is I don't actually know how to add people on it. I was raised with MSN and that just kind of spells everything out for ya. So on AIM I only have like 4 contacts, and 2 of those are people I actually talk to, I'm not sure where the others came from. SO feel free t oadd me. Anyone.

There I was, quite happily playing Battlefield 2 when I get total and terminal lag, so I alt/tab out to see what's going on, oh look I'm part of an 8 way conversation with fellow FF-UKers recording voice messages.

Guy's I'm happy to participate in get togethers like last night but do me a favour in future please, when my status is set to away or busy, don't add me to a group because it kills my bandwidth.

Why not just put your status to appear offline?
That way no-one can talk to you

 

I understand what you're saying Richie but if I want to let people know I'm around, all be it busy or away, then I will continue to use the BUSY or AWAY options. I'm quite happy to chat on MSN but there are times when I am busy or away from the keyboard, that's all I'm saying.

 

The MSN thing is getting a bit out of hand. It seem's everytime I log on I get pulled into a conversation with about 11 people. THE MADNESS HAS TO STOP!!!

Yeah, they have been fun.
But as a few people have said, please those doing the adding, can you respect the ones who may be set to away (etc). Also, if they aren't away, ask them before you add. Just a common courtesy for people who may be busy. I did mention this tonight to those I believe were guilty lol, maybe tomorrow no one will be upset. Fingers crossed

As for me, add away, if I am busy I'll just block ya butt until I am unbusy

I turn MSN off if I am on BF, btw, that is why I have xfire for people to tell me to come off the game.

Argh big msn confos just plain confuse me. You start typing a reply and by the time you finish 20people have said something so the subject has completly changed.
